I was at first sceptical.

However, the project became a revelation for me and I’m sure it was the same for Tom. Because of my nature and background, this was something new, in a way I’d never really come across before. Listening back on a headphone, hearing myself speak and move, the noises I made. It wasn’t just sound, It was how I made it. I’d never heard it that way before. When you move or speak, you’re actually not listening to what you do. I move around the house doing my own thing, but I never listen to the sound I make getting from A to B. This became the focus.

It does sometimes make me think “am I making this too loud?” On my way home on the tube, I look around and listen to the sound everyone and the tube itself makes. Sometimes it’s relaxing and sometimes It’s annoying.
